Kenji Miyazawa Fairy Tale Village [Kenji’s School] features educational attractions inspired by his works, where Kenji’s love for nature and his literary imagination come together to create a space of creativity and learning. This place also includes exhibits that bring his poems and stories to life, along with various programs that reflect his unique thought process.

Kenji’s School is divided into five zones: ‘Fantasy Hall,’ ‘Space,’ ‘Sky,’ ‘Earth,’ and ‘Water.’ Additionally, the log house exhibition facility, ‘Kenji’s Classroom,’ features exhibits on ‘plants,’ ‘animals,’ ‘stars,’ ‘birds,’ and ‘stones’—elements that appear throughout his fairy tales. At Kenji Miyazawa Fairy Tale Village’s Kenji’s School, visitors can explore his works and philosophy throughout the entire facility. Upon entering through the Galaxy Station gate, you step into the enchanting world of Kenji Miyazawa. A large plaza and small forest offer children space to play and explore. Seasonal events are held, and we especially recommend the light-up event, where the natural setting of the Fairy Tale Village merges with illuminated art to create a magical atmosphere unique to the nighttime.
