The Hideyo Noguchi Seishunkan is a facility dedicated to showcasing the life and achievements of Hideyo Noguchi, a world-renowned medical scientist.
About
Hideyo Noguchi suffered burns on his left hand at the age of one, resulting in the loss of five fingers. However, at 15, he underwent surgery that restored his fingers. He later spent three years at the “Kaiyo Clinic” where he received treatment.
The second floor of the facility displays exhibits related to Noguchi’s life and work. The street in front of the building is named “Hideyo Noguchi Seishun Dori” (Hideyo Noguchi Youth Street) in his honor.
