Day 1

The first day begins at Morioka Station. Start by enjoying the city’s famous wanko soba, then visit popular attractions like Morioka Hachimangu Shrine and Iwate Bank Red Brick Museum. After a day of sightseeing, unwind and relax at a local inn.

11:00 Morioka Station

Arrive at Morioka Station at 11:00 AM to start your trip in Iwate Prefecture. From here, you can explore Morioka City and nearby attractions. The station area has a tourist information center where you can get helpful details and plan your visit.

11:15 Hatsukoma Wanko Soba Main Store

Morioka Wanko Soba is a popular restaurant in Morioka City, loved by both locals and tourists since it opened in 1960.
